Schedule

Day 00:

Arrival and orientation.

Day 01:

Tour Lake Manyara National Park on a safari. Through much of the year, hundreds of flamingos make their homes here. Plus elephants, buffalos, baboons and tree-climbing lions.

Day 02:

Go to Seronera in the Serengeti. Observe wildlife. This world-famous game reserve covers almost 15,000 sq km. It is particularly spectacular for its migratory herbivores, including 1.5 million wildebeests.

Day 03:

Morning safari in the Serengeti. Afternoon transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater for overnight on the crater rim.

Day 04:

Early-morning safari. Travel to Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon. In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the far East of the Serengeti, view four distinct habitats with excellent animal-watching. Utterly striking is the Great Migration, when tens of thousands of zebras and wildebeests thunder across the Serengeti.

Day 05:

Safari in Tarangire National Park, which is packed with elephants plus lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Many, many birds live here. Evening return to Arusha.
