Day 00:
Arrival and orientation.
Day 01:
Go to the Great Rift Valley's Lake Manyara National Park for a great safari plus picnic lunch. Spot wildlife such as hippos, impalas, elephants, buffalos and giraffes.
Day 02:
Take a look at N'gorongoro Crater for a day-time drive. Enjoy watching the animals that live in the area, including many bird species. With a picnic lunch. Plus sleeping at Camp Vision's guesthouse or a campsite in Mto we Mbu village.
Day 03:
Tour Tarangire National Park. A great place for spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Program details
The program fee for RCDP volunteers is $799
The program fee includes:
- Pickup/drop-off from project site, domestic, in-park transportation in a modified 4-wheele drive vehicle including a releasable roof hatch for documenting the experience on camcorder and /or camera
- Services of a professional safari guide
- Meals on safari
- Wildlife reserve entry fees and camping fees
- Accommodations as per itinerary.
The program fee does not include:
- Tips for safari guide and/or camp staffers
- Items of personal consumption such as drinks and snacks.
