Day 00:
Arrival and orientation.
Day 01:
Nairobi to Maasai Mara. Enjoy the dramatic Great Rift Valley and get acquainted with some Maasai tribesmen. Watch the commuting wildebeest.
Day 2-3:
Maasai Mara Game Reserve Learn about the cattle-herding culture of the Maasai on their land, known as the Mara. Here you will find giraffes, zebras, antelope, elephants, gazelles, buffalos, birds, and lots more animals.
Day 04:
A final opportunity in the morning for spotting game before returning to Nairobi.

$749 for four days for RCDP volunteers
The program fee includes:
- Pickup/drop-off from project site
- Domestic and in-park transportation in a modified 4-wheel-drive vehicle including a releasable roof hatch for photo and video documenting
- A professional safari guide
- Meals on safari
- Wildlife reserve entry fees and camping fees
- Accommodation
The program fee does not include:
- Tips for safari guide and/or camp staffers
