Each application must be submitted with a $99 refundable application deposit fee. Thereafter, RCDP guarantees you a placement. If not, we will refund your $99 deposit. The initial application deposit fee is later deducted from the total registration fee. Regarding application deposit fee, the following refund policy will be applicable:

In the event of war, disease outbreaks, natural calamities, and other situations which is beyond our control, RCDP Volunteers will not be responsible and liable for any loss and damage. RCDP Volunteers will also not be responsible for flights, hotel, and other costs that may incurred because of these situations. However, RCDP Volunteers may allow volunteers to change their project to a different location or postpone their project to a later date.
Volunteers pay weekly program fees directly to the country coordinator. The country coordinator distributes fund to host families, projects, and other places. As RCDP does not collect weekly program fees, we are not responsible for the refund of weekly program fees, and all matters must be resolved directly with the country coordinator.
Sometime volunteers also pay the weekly program fee to RCDP rather than paying directly to country coordinator. If RCDP collects the weekly program fee, the following refund policy will apply
In the event that we have already transferred funds to local partner or country coordinator, there will be NO refund from RCDP. Our local partner/Country coordinator distribute fund in advance to book/confirm project/room/food, all matters related to the refund of weekly program fees must be resolved directly to the country coordinator.
The fee will not be refunded after the program starts. Volunteers are entitled to full refund if RCDP cannot organize the program.
