One week language and culture program offers volunteers an opportunity to learn more about life in Uganda before they begin their volunteer projects. The program is designed for volunteers who want to immerse themselves with their project and complete their work successfully. Through this program, volunteers will learn about Uganda by familiarizing themselves with the local language, where you’ll learn basic phrases and verbs that are commonly used by Ugandans in their daily life. You’ll also learn about local culture and traditions and become involved in sightseeing tour.
| Day 01: | Welcome at RCDP office, orientation on general issues, and discussion on the week's events. |
| Day 02: | Language starts; you’ll start your lesson with greetings words and continue with most words that are required for daily. You’ll also learn about nuances of Ugandan English. |

| Day 07: | Closing of language classes. Review and evaluation |
