Traditional Kenya Safari (Nairobi, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara) - 6 days for $1249

Explore the most fabulous Kenyan parks, such as Amboseli National Park, which is near Mount Kilimanjaro, and is loaded with the likes of elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. Meanwhile, Lake Nakuru National Park is popular for its rhinos and flamingos. Also included is the spectacular Great Rift Valley.

Schedule

Day 0: Arrival and orientation.

Days 1 - 2: Embark on a safari through Amboseli National Park, highlighted by watching big elephant herds, many a bird species and cheetahs, plus vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Make for stunning Thompson Falls, the breathtaking Rift Valley and exquisite Lake Nakuru and its pretty forest landscapes.

Day 4 – 5: Enjoy the renowned Masai Game Reserve, highlighted by the Masai tribe’s timeless cattle traditions in their land, called Mara, which is Africa’s biggest wildlife reserve. Here you can spot birds, monkeys, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, hippopotamus and crocodiles.

Day 6: One last look at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve before heading back to Nairobi.

  • domestic and in-park transportation in a modified 4-wheel-drive vehicle including a releasable roof hatch for photo and video documenting
